Hi - the island looks fantastic & I have requested a winter placement here with the tour operator that I work for - however, I keep being told that I wont like it as its too windy/humid etc - I still think i WILL like it!! Is it THAT bad in the winter there can somebody give me an opinion please?!!

It's actually windier in the summer.
In the winter (November-February) it can get a little cold at night, there will probably be the odd bad week (rain), but mostly it will be mid-20s degrees C during the day.

That's great - my sort of temperature!! Will wait and see if I get posted there now. Thanks for reply.
